Media 1 introduces 'Conference in a box'

Media 1 Productions has launched three managed conference packages, designed to make it easier to plan and co-ordinate a meeting or event in the current economic climate. Media 1 has developed bronze, silver, gold and platinum packages, each including a range of equipment, set up and support for between 50 to 800 delegates.

Steve Bindley, director of Media 1, said: 'In the current market event organisers need to be able to control their costs, while ensuring they deliver productions that continue to reflect the quality of their business and enhance communication. Our new packages are designed to make it easier for organisers to know exactly what they are spending and on what, providing a simple solution to event budgeting and control.'

Media 1's range of managed conference packages incorporate -

Bronze - for small conferences of up to 50 delegates - £850+VAT for day one, £450 per extra day. Includes one 6ftx4.5ft screen or 50in plasma screen; two LCD projectors; lectern with microphone; sound system and mixing desk; two radio lapel microphones; event project manager; all set up and more.

Silver - for medium conferences of up to 100 delegates - £1,800+VAT for day one, £900 per extra day. Includes equipment as for bronze package plus flat wall set; two additional lapel microphones; set lighting; two on-site crew; and A1 corporate logos.

Gold - for large conferences of up to 250 delegates - £3,600+VAT for day one, £1,800 per extra day. Includes similar equipment to silver package but 13ftx9ft screen; staging, carpet and fascias; LED colour changing lighting; four on-site crew; and more.

Platinum - a bespoke conference package for up to 800 delegates - £7,500+VAT for day one, £3,500 per extra day. A package for larger conference rooms with Cyclorama screen; staging; LCD projectors; microphones; mixing desk; six on-site crew and more.
