3M has launched a projector the size of a smartphone, weighing just 152g, and measuring 11.5 x 5 x 2.2 cm. The MPro110 can project images from 5-50in diagonal, and it can be connected to mobile phones, iPods, digital cameras and games consoles.
The MPro110 is being aimed at travellers who deliver a lot of presentations but do not want to carry bulky desktop projectors around with them. It can be used for giving impromptu sales pitches to customers while on the road or in a last minute meeting. Equipment hire and availability hassles can be avoided, and crowding uncomfortably round a laptop in confined spaces during meetings need no longer be an issue.
Comparable to the size of a Smartphone, MPro110 weighs just 152 grams and measures 115 x 50 x 22mm. Operation is completely silent and its rechargeable battery gives up to 60 minutes running time. Using LCOS technology MPro110 has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and a native resolution of 640 x 480 VGA.
The MPro110 micro professional projector has a recommended selling price of £299 including VAT.
