Maverick has made changes to its management structure following the company's expansion into Europe. Jon Sidwick is now director of Maverick Europe and David Watts takes on Sidwick's previous role as Maverick director, responsible for the UK business including Hotlamps and ScreenExpert.

Jon Sidwick moves to become director of Maverick Europe, where he will be responsible for developing pan European opportunities and vendor relationships as well as working with the UK team.

Commenting on the changes Sidwick sees this as the next natural stage of evolution of the Maverick model. 'Maverick is now a sound business and is growing strongly, by adding David and Sid to the team we now have the ability to really focus on delivering excellent customer service and focus on supporting our key vendor strategies. We are a focussed specialist not a broadline vendor collector, expect to see the team working hard to deliver true channel value add through a select set of vendors.'

David has previously worked for Samsung running their displays division and joins Maverick from parent company Computer2000, where he was responsible for the specialist CAD division.

Sid Stanley has also joined Maverick as general sales manager with responsibility for developing sales across all channels. Sid has nine years experience in a-v industry, at Sony, Pioneer and Plasma Screen Company.

The combination of Mark Tildesley and Sid Stanley will now be heading up the Maverick sales and business management team.

Sidwick has also revealed Maverick is to recruit another business manager, and interviews are currently taking place.
