Mitsubishi Electric has launched two 65in LCD public display monitors, the LDT651P and the LDT651L, which offer a 1,080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) screen for industrial and commercial use.
The LDT651P and LDT651L feature a contrast ratio of 2000:1, and the LDT series features a 6ms response rate. The displays offer 16.7 million colours, making them suitable for presentations, broadcasting environments, security monitoring and digital signage within retail locations.
The LDT651L has 420cd/m2 of brightness and has been produced for landscape display mode. The LDT651P offers 450cd/m2 of brightness and has been designed for portrait display in areas that require tall applications.
Both displays incorporate a tiling capability function that allows users to see multiple inputs in one screen and the digital zoom means users can enlarge images. They also feature a range of a-v connectivity for high-resolution analogue, RGB, digital RBG, HDMI and more HD video source inputs for multiple computers, Blu-ray players and security cameras. Both monitors can be controlled through an RS232c connector.
Information can be accessed through the displays' menu and the monitors can be networked using third party products. The infra red remote locks the display settings to prevent unauthorised changes being made.
