Events agency Jack Morton Worldwide has been appointed by the Ministry of Defence to produce a commemorative event to mark the dedication of the WW1 military cemetery in Fromelles, Northern France.
It will also mark the completion of the reinternment of 250 of the Australian and British solders that died in the battle of Fromelles on 19th July 1916.
High ranking British, Australian and French officials will attend the event on 19 July 2010, the 94th anniversary of the battle.
The ceremony will take place at the Fromelles, Pheasant Wood, Military Cemetery, a new Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery set in the village of Fromelles.
Jack Morton will be providing the creative content for the ceremony as well as production, technical and logistical infrastructure.
The event will include a ceremonial procession, tributes from senior representatives of both countries and testimonies from soldiers' relatives and others connected to the events at Fromelles. The ceremony will conclude with the final reinternment of an unknown soldier.
