Panasonic has won the best audio-visual brand category in the first-ever Which? Awards.
The company won the category despite strong competition from two other Japanese brands, Canon and Sony – and it also won a ‘heritage’ award for achieving the most Best Buy recommendations since Which? was first published in 1957 – a total of 222.
‘In an ever-changing industry, Panasonic has managed to impress us consistently with its innovation and reliability’,, said the Which” judges. ‘Panasonic achieved a massive 15 best buys this year,, so if you’re looking to invest your hard-earned cash, you can’t really go wrong with Panasonic.’
The awards were given across a portfolio of products. Other categories ranged from ‘best domestic appliance brand’ to best retailer, best broadband provider and the restaurant of the year.
