Hitachi has given Midwich full access to its education portfolio.
Hitachi has given Midwich full access to its education portfolio with immediate effect.
The agreement gives the distributor access to the entire Hitachi line up for the first time.
Darren Lewitt, divisional director for a-v at Midwich said: ‘there was a lot of frustration from resellers who could not get hold of these products from Midwich. On many occasions last year they ended up switching to other brands rather than buying Hitachi from other sources.’
Miwich launched the partnership by showcasing Hitachi’s new short-throw projector at the BETT show in London this week, as part of a five-strong projector shootout.
In a separate deal, Midwich has also signed to Hitachi’s first consumer to business trade distributor.
