The IVCA held its second LiveCom awards, for live events produced for international markets, at the Meridian Hotel in Piccadilly.

The IVCA held its second LiveCom awards, for live events produced for international markets, at the Meridian Hotel in Piccadilly last month.
The interactive stand at the Geneva motor show created by Imagination (a multiple AV Award winner in 2007) and the Toyota Auris Launch, produced by Square Zero using a Musion’s Pepper’s Ghost screen, both won an award for innovation.
RS Live won two Entertainment Experience Awards for its shows in Macao with the opening of the Gran Lisboa Casino and in Libya for the Gaddafi foundation#s ‘A vision for Libya’ show.
Also in Libya, the Great Man-Made River, produced by William Martin Productions won one of the Learning Experience Awards. This category rewards exhibition project and environments designed for non-profit organisations for educational or informational purposes including museums, galleries or equivalents.
Line Up received the External Experience award for its work for Volvo Car Corporation on its ‘Shaping the Future’ event for Volvo dealers in 32 countries.
Most of the winners remarked on the difficulties of delivering a top class act with tight deadlines
The awards winners will also be showcased on the IVCA international road shows, which will go from the West Coast of America, to India, China and the 2008 Japan Festival.
