Digital screen network company ScreenFX has bought screen media sales company POPtv.
It is the second time this week that a digital signage network operator has bought an ad sales company.
ScreenFX will now have a portfolio of over 3,050 screens and its reach has been extended by the acquisition of POPtv to include five additional shopping centres – including the Birmingham Bullring and Manchester’s Arndale Centre.
Other viewer additions as a result of the purchase include the 150m who see Subpostmaster TV, the advertising revenues from the Life Channel, and Baby TV.
‘By broadcasting on more screens in more locations, ScreenFX presents a compelling proposition for national advertisers’.
