Mercedes Benz World, a new brand experience centre opening on the site of the Brooklands race track in Weybridge on October 26, will feature 4k resolution projection in its reception area.

Mercedes Benz World, a new brand experience centre opening on the site of the Brooklands race track in Weybridge on October 26, will feature 4k resolution projection in its reception area.

Sony is to supply the project with videoconferencing systems, 40 HD ready LCD displays a Ziris digital signage management system, Anycast media distribution, and a 4k resolution SXRD projection system.

The immersive brand experience centre will cover the heritage and values of Mercedes Benz, show off every car and colour variant in the range, and allow visitors to book driving experiences on handling circuits. The centre will also house a gourmet restaurant, cafes, boutiques and activity areas.

Sony systems are to be installed in the centre's main building, includig conference, training and reception areas. Centrepiece of the reception area will be a 4k resolution display showing archive footage and the latest models in action.

The systems installation contract for the project has been awarded to Venue Solutions.
