Vitec in deal to buy Litepanels

The Vitec Group gas signed an agreement to acquire Litepanels, a manufacturer of LED lighting systems for the television, broadcast, video and film industries.

 

Litepanels has developed a range of LED on-camera and stand-mounted lighting systems, for use in lighting and broadcast installations, including one at the White House press briefing room.

Based in California, Litepanels was founded in 2005 by five partners with experience as lighting designers or lighting directors. All will continue with the company after the acquisition.
