Promethean has reaffirmed its partnership with Maverick by authorising the company as a distributor of Promethean spares and accessories within the UK.

Promethean has reaffirmed its partnership with Maverick by authorising the company as a distributor of Promethan spares and accessories within the UK. With immediate effect Maverick is able to process and fulfil sales of auxiliary items for channel partners to purchase.

In the existing partnership Maverick is responsible for the distribution of Promethean technologies to a cross section of its registered partners, Maverick is able to handle day-to-day enquiries and processing of orders for a defined list of accessory items, including replacement ActivPens, ActivHubs and power cables.

Under the new partnership, all Promethean channel partners are now able to purchase accessories via Maverick's ‘In Touch' online ordering system, and have the option to buy Promethean accessories alongside other Computer 2000 products.

Commenting on the appointment, Ian Curtis, head of UK and Ireland at Promethean, said: 'Since forming the partnership with Maverick, Promethean has been extremely impressed with the level of support Maverick has offered to our channel partners..As well as exceeding its sales target for the first quarter of 2009, Maverick has stimulated a wealth of orders from our registered partners, and brought over 40 new Promethean partners on board.'
