Barco lights up Hard Rock Hotel

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas has installed Barco's lighting and control products in their new $60m venue called The New Joint. The venue's grand opening saw concerts from The Killers and Paul McCartney.
The installation was handled by Montreal-based Solotech, equipment for the project includes 13 Showguns, four Dl.3 digital lights with a D-Tek D-Mix Pro switcher, two Showpix pixelation luminaires and a Road Hog Full Boar console.
Montreal-based architectural firm ScenoPlus designed the 4,000 capacity venue to accomodate events beyond concerts - from boxing, wrestling, martial arts, corporate functions, tradeshows, movie premieres and advanced screenings.
