Tandberg has launched the Quick Set C20, a 1080p videoconferencing system to meet the needs of small- and medium-sized businesses.
The Quick Set C20 includes a Tandberg codec C20, a 1080p 30fps camera with 4x zoom, a remote control and a microphone.
The system can be plugged into any HD display for instant videoconferencing capabilities.
The Quick Set C20plus is an enhanced offering that comes with a 12x zoom camera and the ability to select 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps modes. Both Quick Set C20 packages have the ability to support dual screens for enhanced multi-media sharing and are supported by the Tandberg management suite.
Additionally, if SMEs require multipoint conferences Tandberg's multipoint control units will work with the Quick Set C20 to enable larger conferences in full 1080p 30fps HD with a software upgrade, available in Q3.
The manufacturer has also introduced the TS 7010, a telepresence bridge which is a compact version of the chassis-based Telepresence server. The company has also released a software upgrade for its T3 product that simplifies call set-up by the configuration of the Telepresence server from the T3's touch screen.
