Can rotating LED boards replace paper and vinyl posters at a fraction of the cost of static LEDs? Litelogic believes so - its DiscLite, available in single- and dual-disc formats, provides 2.34mm resolution.
Can rotating LED boards replace paper and vinyl posters at a fraction of the cost of static LEDs?
Litelogic believes so - its DiscLite, available in single- and dual-disc formats, provides 2.34mm resolution on panels of 33 inches or 53 inches diameter.
Says the firm: 'Other static LED displays that are currently being used for large-format purposes - such as 96-sheet, 48-sheet and 30-sheet - are usually between 20mm and 12mm resolution. The DiscLite product uses much smaller and many fewer LEDs to create the higher-resolution images.'
The new DiscLite will be shown on Litelogic's stand at Screen Media Expo Europe, held at Earls Court in London on 5-6 May.
The firm also offers its proprietary Litecast platform, which drives third-party devices as well as its own LED-based displays and is said to make digital posters as accountable and flexibly scheduled as online ads.
